Kicking off my photography career has been harder than I expected it to be. Not because I'm having trouble creatively, but because I've gotten so used to shooting my husband and our dogs...not other people.
I knew I needed to step out of my comfort zone, and what better way to do that than to shoot a baby and her mama!
Grace turned one this month, and I had SO much fun shooting her for her first birthday! I can't wait to capture year two next year!
Melissa and I grew up across the street from each other as kids, and it's truly incredible to see her raising a beautiful little girl now.
Watching Grace run around the park, learning how to use those legs, and explore her surroundings was so awesome. It made me realize that I need to slow down sometimes and really take in all that this world has to offer.
